"QUOTE :: People call in with accusatory tones like we are not hiring them for some reason--other than their performance on the interview. ... For another thing, what gives them the right to call in and act like they DESERVE to be hired because they've applied multiple times?? Lastly, why would anyone ever dream of calling a potential employer and be disrespectful? ..." |

Thank you so much for your acknowledgment. The cost of medical insurance keeps many useful individuals off company payrolls.

Hi, Emily! I thought I'd better let you know that if you're responding to someone's comment on your wall, you have to go to their profile by clicking onto their name. Then, you post on their comment wall. Otherwise, they won't know that you've posted a reply. I know because I watch for these things, as it's a very, very common mistake with new users. You could post this article in the news channel, where it would be widely appreciated. Go to the news channel, then to the upper right corner where you'll see a button for submitting articles and it'll take you to the right place. Thanks for that article, you're doing a fantastic job already! You're going to be a valued member, Emily, I can tell that already! Thanks so much for joining!

Today on Monster, there's an article detailing the 6 Fundamental Skills that make an individual essential to any organization. This is worth knowing.

Thanks for the options to participate! I'll look into them. Maybe I can be of some use here, I dunno.

Hi, Emily! It's great to have you here! I'd like to invite you to join some groups, which I think you would enjoy, and which the other members would benefit from, since you'll be bringing some wisdom and experience with you! First of all, I'd like to recommend HRGuru Site Updates, where Katie keeps us updated on the improvements that she's always working hard to bring to the site. For instance, you should have a look at the news channel, she has really done a fine job there! Then, we have such groups as Mentor Connection, Women in HR, Training Professionals and Human Resources Professionals. We have eight pages of groups listed to choose from, so scroll down the list and join as many as you like! I'm looking forward to the value that you'll be adding to the discussions going on in the forums, as well! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm here to help!

Wow. You mean, my very visceral anger doesn't just get me thrown out?
Thank you so much. This brings tears to my eyes.
