Hi I'm Rowie from Abbott Philippines.
I just joined 'HR Guru' recently (September 27, 2008) and I noticed that there are many insightful HR discussions in this site.
I'm wondering if all the 'HR Guru' members have met already? I'm still a believer of personal interaction aside from technology alone. What I mean is, I'm thinking of organizing an assembly for HR Guru members....
Do we have that kind of activity already? It could be an HR Guru conference where we could meet annualy and have learning sessions face to face..It would be a great experience to personally talk and learn from each other aside from just facing our laptops/PCs and participate in the discussion via web...

Hey - quick question for you since you happen to be my "friend" and the TOP NEWS contributor...I was on an interview last week and the next step in the process is to design a 90 day plan. Now - having started three HR departments from the ground up in my time, this would be relatively simple if I had the opportunity to go in and assess what they had, and work from there...but....the President has tasked me and the other applicants with this - to be submitted by Monday! Can you help me? Is there somewhere I can go find a "generic" HR Business Plan for my first 90 days that I can tweak as appropriate? Thanks so much for any help you might be able to provide!

I was just in Vermont on vacation a few years ago, so I can't be much help there. Perhaps we have some HRGuru users from Vermont? Go to the community tab and click 'more search options' next to the box. Good luck!
