Well, I hope they live up to their reputation! I would imagine they would since they are still around.
If you actually do go there, let me know what you think. I may ride back to Sturgis on my motorcycle next year and might wind through there just to try it again!
Have a great weekend!

Hey, I found it on the web. Guess what? It's actually called "The Big Steer" Restaurant.
Take a look: http://www.desmoinesalive.com/locations/altoona/big-steer-restaurant-lounge/photos/2/

It was a long, long time ago, say 15 years? It was on the main highway out of town going East. It was famous there in town, seemed like everybody knew of it. Famous for a deal where if you at their big meal, it was free. Something like 64 oz, cooked prime rib, jinormous baked spud with all the fixings, bread, and veggies; and you had to eat it all. If you did, they took your picture and put in on wall. I did it, once. Almost died, ha, ha.

Hey, do they still have that great restaurant that serves the best prime rib in the world? It's a simple brick building with a huge plastic steer in the front.
