Description:

Stephen R. Covey's book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, has been a top-seller for the simple reason that it ignores trends and pop psychology for proven principles of fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity. Celebrating its fifteenth year of helping people solve personal and professional problems, this special anniversary edition includes a new foreword and afterword written by Covey exploring the question of whether the 7 Habits are still relevant and answering some of the most common questions he has received over the past 15 years.

7 Habits is more than a book, it is a very useful way to establish your road map and an excellent tool to implement durable changes in your life and in your business.

Dr Covey has put together one of the best works ever. The key word in the title is "habits", no thinking about, setting goals to do something, swishing or anchoring yourself, but actually developing habits and actually doing it.

I've read this book several times and I get something new out of it every time. The only other self development book that helped me this much (I've read them all) is "THINK & GROW RICH" by Napolean Hill I also highly recommend "BUSINESS BUY THE BIBLE" and "DON'T SET GOALS" by Wade Cook. These books are very much in the tradition of "SEVEN HABITS".

To me, this book is not only "not over rated" as one reader indicated, I believe that it is grossly under rated and arguably is the best self development book on the book racks right now!

This book was actually quite interesting- and the revised edition is significantly improved from the previous copy.

Covey has been around for a while, but the habits apply still today. An easy to read, easy to apply book that you can use to guide your career, education, and life if you so choose to apply it that way. First introduced to Covey in 2000, I find this read one worth checking out.

"7 Habits" is a must read for life in general. Those wishing to encourage managers to collaberate more effectively seek out the "7 Habits for Managers".

This was an instant classic, read it, then reread it and then figure out how to do it, then figure out how to do it often enough to make it your habit! An outstanding and deeply insightful recipe for personal effectiveness.

This is a book every professional needs to read at least once.
