Are you one of those who has funny cartoons, flowers, posters, or nothing on your walls?  Tell me about the best and worst decor and what you think it says about the occupant.  Also, tell me how you perceive the atmosphere (negative, positive, angry, unprofessional, creative, etc.)

Ok, so I was asked by a colleague as to what was deemed "appropriate" office decor.  Give me your most outrageous examples...please?

It's fun going into someone's office and seeing comics and pictures of their family around, it makes them seem so much more... human =P tasteful comics, family photos and framed diplomas or qualification certificates are all appropriate things to have in your work space. When it comes to giant Ferrari posters or magazine clippings of your favourite actors... I don't know, somehow that just irks me as being kind of tacky.

It's kinda funny though, I had a photo of my brother [we're very close =) ] on my desk when he went overseas to work for a while and I had people coming in saying things like, "wow, your hubby is quite the catch!!" Then there was this awkward kind of pause before I explained to them that no, it was actually my brother... then they gave me this look that was like, "oh my god, that's so creepy..." haaahahaha. Maybe it's best not to have siblings as your photo centerpieces. =P
