What is the key to getting past the phone interview?

Posted 4 months ago I only have about two yars of HR experience nder my belt, and will obtain my PHR designation in February 2009. I am looking to further my career. I live in the panhandle of FL, and for those of you familiar you can understand why I have to work two jobs to get by! I don't have to make millions, I just want to get a decent paying HR job so that I don't have to work two jobs. I have had a few phone interviews, but never get a call back. What is the trick to get past that step and get a real face-to-face interview? |
