Posted 28 days ago How many of you allow vendors to offer discounted services/products to your employees via email, lunch presentations, etc. For example, work is so busy and life demands so much, if it would make life easier for your employees would you allow vendors to come in and pitch discounted services to your employees? Car washes at work, dry cleaning, novelties for birthday presents, music, etc. How many of you have an active program for this type of ee benefit? What other things do you offer? Todd |

Services??? What a novel idea! I am in such a remote area that we do not have those options. The town here has about a thousand people and it is two and a half hours to the nearest chain store. But I am always looking for ideas for things to offer employees.

| Posted 26 days ago I'm also in a very remote area, the closest gas station and grocery store is over 30 minutes away. We have a mental health professional come in twice a month that speaks to our new employees and that is also available for our current employees to meet with confidentially. We've also had a nutrtionist come in to talk about eating well this year. We work with a company that provides discounts on vacation packages and cruises that we post and distribute to employees. At a previous location for the same company, we had two representatives from a major bank come in and do a presentation on buying your first home, which was extremely popular. We also work with other local businesses to provide discounts to the residents in our area, which is mostly all staff. We have a small card, about the size of a business card, that lists the company and the discount, and with the card you get such things discounted horse back riding, cheap golf, discounted room stays...etc.
