Hey, friends!

It's very interesting how do you value the influence of ROCK on work process?

It energizes me and calls me for work)))) - but some others fall asleep:)

I tend to feel that rock helps energize me as well. I have always enjoyed music and anything fast beat is definitely a pick me upper for me.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

I am a rock/alternative fan. I've always been and I love the influence of music at work. If I can have my way I would be listening to XM Radio- "Lucy" at work. Sadly it's not a common taste factor in the office space, so I definitley listen to my pop/rock influence that i can get away with. i sometimes have a little Youtube video in the background on my computer to plug in some favorite hits.

I love the oldies....

GNR, U2 are my absolute favorites. lately- i go back to an old fav. (without you by motley crue).

That's nice:)

I wonder why companies still don't implement policies regarding music in office :))

So my favourite group at work is Queen - it's perfect for work:))

Queen is excellent for energizing.  I do have some favourites by Boston, Journey, ELO and others.  I'm dating myself, probably.  But I've found that if offices allow people to have the kind of music around them that energizes them, they get greater productivity.  It's a basic fact that people work better when they feel good, and music has a way of making us feel good.  Now, if you're in an office, you obviously have to keep the volume to a level that will allow for answering the phone, etc., but music is great.  I also believe in allowing people to talk to one another and have a sense of humour.  People are not drones.
