Posted 5 months ago Have you seen the British version of The Office? It's the original show. And is SO FUNNY. Perhaps even funnier than the American version. What do you think? |

| Posted 5 months ago I actually prefer the British version to ours. SO HILARIOUS! But my friend tells me that's just because I have a British father. According to her, my sense of humor is dry. But it makes me laugh! |

| Posted 5 months ago I used to think that the British Office was funnier - but than I got off my high horse and realized the US one is better. Although I do think it has taken a little bit of a turn for the worse in the most recent season - looking at the entire series, it is better. |

| Posted 3 months ago I've seen every episode of both. Everyone told me the British Office was better, but when I watched it I really liked it, but definitely didn't think it was better. Brits I can understand, but I feel like a lot of Americans/Canadians who say the British version is better are saying that because it sounds more sophisticated to do so. They may not consciously be doing it, but Steve Carrell's office is far more fleshed out (obviously, it has a lot more episodes) and has better developed characters - and still really funny. That being said, Carrell's character does tend to go a bit more over the top than he used to, which is a bit annoying. |
