Posted 5 months ago As HR, are we The Man, or are we preventing The Man from keeping people down? |

| Posted 5 months ago I don't think there is such thing as "The Man." I think we are helping people with their work experience and benefits (both financial and non-financial) and I believe that this helps our individual clients and society in general. It's kind of like Adam Smith's invisible hand. I like to think of those of us in HR as the invisible hand. |

| Posted 5 months ago I disagree...I think there is a man. The man definitely likes to get the most out of his workers for the least about of money. |

| Posted 2 months ago I'm with HRguruita, there is a MAN, and unfortunately it's our job to do their bidding, yes we do alot of good and match people with jobs and set up benefits and other good stuff, but the bottom line is that sometimes we are forced to do the dirty work......you know what i mean |

| Posted about 1 month ago Either we become "the man" and stop the improper treatment of employees and become resposible leaders setting a good work environment or we gain enough influence to convince "the man" to change his ways. If all we do is do "the man's" bidding then we should find another job. Todd |
